Four international troops killed in Afghanistan

Four international service members have been killed in an insurgent attack in the east of country. it is says NATO forces in Afghanistan.

It is right, says the military coalition. The coalition says the attack happened on Saturday. It did not provide further details.

Spokesman of Taliban Zabiullah Mujahid alleged dutifulness for the attack in an e-mail, saying that a suicide bomber attacked the troops in Kapisa province.

The majority's troops in Kapisa province are French, but there are also other nations with forces there, including the USA.

Blasts killed fourteen in Russia

Fourteen people has been killed and injured more than 120 by a double car bombing in Russia’s troubled North Caucasus just days before Vladimir Putin returns to the Kremlin, an official source said  yesterday.

Authorities of Dagestan’s main city said may have been triggered by suicide bombers, were the deadliest in the Caucasus in months and smashed any deceptive appearance of increasing permanence.

Bahrain wants retrial of hunger striker

Tuesday, Highest appeals court of Bahrain ordered the retrial of opposition activist Abdullah Al- Khawaja,who has been on hunger strike since 8,February and other discordant, attorney said.

Mohammed Al- Jishy told “ The court accepted the appeal and ordered a trail in the court of appeal “a civil court.

Mr. Jishy also said “we were expecting the verdict would be annulled but the decision will give us an opportunity to defend our clients,” He adding that no date has yet been set for the new trail.

Terms of prison were handed down for Abdullah Al- Khawaja and twenty other mostly activists of Shia after they were pronounced guilty in June last year of plotting to defeat its Sunni rulers.

Sirhan did not act alone and Robert F. Kennedy

A key witness in the 1968 assassination of Robert F. Kennedy has withdrawn from its official statements, in the case and now claims that convicted murderer Sirhan Sirhan did not act alone.

Nina Rhodes-Hughes, 78, told CNN that the FBI and then-California Attorney General, Kamala Harris, "twisted" their initial statements of the authorities.

"What we need to leave is that there was another shooter to my right," Rhodes told CNN. "The truth must be told. No more hiding."

Rhodes's original statement FBI says it heard eight gunshots at the time and makes no mention of a second gunman. However, Rhodes, who was just meters from Kennedy says she has never claimed to have heard only eight shots.

Iran oil and Cyber attacks

A Iranian industry sources said on Monday that Iran is investigating a suspected cyber attack on its main oil export terminal and on tje ministry itself.

 All are asking how could detect a virus to the Kharg Island? However, a virus was detected inside the control systems of Kharg Island, which handles the vast majority of crude oil export of Iran. But the terminal remained operational, a source at the National Iranian Oil Com. said.

The virus attacks with the Stuxnet computer worm which reportedly affected Iranian nuclear facilities in 2009-2010, struck late on Sunday. The virus also hit the internet and communications systems of oil ministry of Iran and National oil company . A source reported that  Computer system controlling a number of Iran's other oil facilities have been disconnected from internet as a precaution.

The media network of the oil ministry said some date of computer had been affected but that there was no large damage.

Sri Lanka determined to destroy a Mosque after protest of monks

A mosque and a Hindu temple has been decided to destroy by Sri Lanka after a group of Buddhist Monks and their lay supporters protested their presence inside a Buddhist holy area.

Lakshman Perera, who a lawmaker of ruling party, he said on Monday that places of worship and other buildings will be relocated to alternate sites outside the designated holy zone within six month and this decision had been agreed by the Muslim Politicians.

Africa wants to import jute bags from Bangladesh

Export Trading Group is a Tanzania based African export body. The Group  proposed on Tuesday to import jute bags from Bangladesh. The proposal proposed when an Export Trading Group(ETG) delegation met industries Minister Dilip Barua's office in capital Dhaka. The delegation has been led by Mahes Patel of the ETG. Myanmar Country head of the ETG Sanjoy P Jain was present and among others in delegation program.

The Export Trading Group(ETG) expressed interest to export urea fertilizer under government to government system. In the meeting, various issues added about agriculture and commercial relations among African countries and Bangladesh for mutual profits. Speaking on the meeting, Mr.Dilip Barua called upon the Export Trading Group representatives to invest in chemical fertilizer, IT, Ready-made Garment and explore other investment opportunities.

The Supreme Court of Pakistan to announce verdict in contempt case against Gilani on Thursday.

The Supreme Court of Pakistan will announce its opinion in a contempt of court case against Yousuf Raza Gilani who is President of Pakistan on Thursday, his lawyer said on Tuesday.

The Prime Minister was charged with contempt by the Supreme Court of Pakistan in February for rejecting to note to the Swiss authorities to against President Asif Ali Zardari.

Counsel Aitzaz Ahsan told trusted reporters in Islamabad that “The Supreme Court of Pakistan will announce judgment in the case on Thursday in April 26” .Asked if Gilani will appear in person, he said – I will inform him about it today and he will inshallah come to the court.” He said the maximum torments Gilani could face if convicted was six month in prison, but he was hopeful the judges would acquit his client.

Yousuf Raza Gilani is Pakistan’s first sitting premier ever to face criminal charges and if he is given a jail sentence he could be disqualified from office .

The Swiss shelved the cases against Zardari in 2008 when he became President and a prosecutor in Switzerland has said it will be impossible to re open them as long as he remains head of state and is immune from prosecution.   

Gilani insists that Zardari has full immunity. But in December 2009 The Supreme Court of Pakistan overturned a two year political amnesty that had frozen investigations into Zardari and other politicians.

Zardari and his late wife former premier Benazir Bhutto, were suspected of using Swiss accounts to launder about $12 million allegedly paid in bribes by companies seeking customs inspection contracts in the 1999s.

An angry four year boy Saudi boy shot and killed his father for refusing to buy him a PlayStation, Saudi media reported on Monday. The Asharq daily, citing police in the southern Jizan area, said the child, aged four years and seven months, grabbed his father’s pistol and shot him father in the head.

 According to the newspaper, the child had asked his father to buy him a PlayStation and the shooting took place after the man returned home without the desired object. As he was undressing , the man put the weapon down, which the child then grabbed and fired at him  from close range.

India closing missile gap with China and US appreciates

“The US change in position with regard to Indian missile capabilities demonstrates how far the US-India relationship has evolved over the last decade,” Curtis and Spring said.

Islamist militants killed by own bomb says Nigerian Army

It is sorrowful news for Islamic era  that five  suspected Islamist militants were killed when bombs they assembling exploded during a shootout with government troops in Northern Nigeria , a military commander said Monday.

A believable source said that “we can confirm that five suspected members of Boko Haram were on Saturday night blown to pieces by IEDs(Improvised Explosive Devices)” they were assembling Colonel Victor Ebhaleme .

The Bombs were being assembled for attacks planned for the flashpoint city of Maiduguri , the epicenter of an increasingly bloody insurgency that has left more than thousands people dead since mid 2009, said Ebhaleme.

He also said the joint military task force deployed to the region to stem the violence had surrounded the hideout and “engaged the suspects in a shootout”

The insurgents had thrown a bomb at the soldiers when the other bombs inside the house went off killing the five suspects and destroying the house added Ebhaleme.

The Herald researcher , Nielsen’s John Stirton ,said the analyst was a legitimate use of Nielsen polling data but represented “ a worst case scenario rather then the most likely scenario”.

The analyst showed that among the nine Labor senators who would probably lose their seats including the Finance Minister, Penny Wong and convener of the Left faction, Doug Cameron.

With the speaker of the House of Representative, Peter Slipper, standing aside, the govt. is again forced to survive on the narrowest possible margin.

The analyst revealed that in a chamber of seventy six, the projected result would shrink Labor’s Senate strength from thirty one seats to twenty two. The Greens would increase from nine to twelve.

Therefore, the combined total of Labor and Greens, the govt. coalition, would go from a majority of forty to a minority of thirty four or thirty five. The Coalition’s numbers would swell from thirty four to thirty nine.

The fringe parties and independents would hold three seats instead of the present two, as Bob Katter’s Australian Party would win a seat in Queensland.

North Korean army vows to turn Seoul to ashes and “special action”

Military of North Korea yesterday   threatened “special action” soon to turn parts of the South Korean capital to Ashes ,accusing Seoul’s conservative govt. of defaming its leadership.

The North has for month been criticizing the South’s President Lee Myung Bak  in extreme terms and threatening “scared war” over perceived insults.

There have been no events but the tongue has become increasingly vitriolic . Some analysts said they trust a military provocation likely. Actually it is true.

A statement on the official news agency said that “The special actins of our revolutionary armed forces will start soon ti meet the reckless challenge of the group of traitors “  

 The North said its target are “the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors ,the arch criminals and the group of rat like elements including conservative media ruining the mainstay of the fair public opinion .

It said the action ‘will reduce all---to ashes in three or four minutes --- by unprecedented peculiar means and methods of our own style’.

Ten of thousands rallied in Pyongyang last Friday , screaming hatred for Lee anf calling for his death over alleged insult

Last week the nuclear-armed North accused Lee of “desecrating” mass celebration marking the 100^th anniversary on April 15 of the birth of Pyongyang’s president Kim Il-Sung.

It bridled at anti-Pyongyang demonstrations in Seoul and at comments by Lee and conservative media. These questioned the cost of the anniversary celebration for a nation pressuring acute food shortages.

The estimated USD 850 million cost of a rocket launch intended to mark the anniversary could have bought 2.5 million tones of corn said Lee .

The statement of yesterday castigated Lee for comments last Friday, which urged the North’s Kim Jong Un to reform agriculture and improve human rights.

It also took issue with the South’s unveiling of a new cruise missile said to be able to reach any  target in the North.

The North attributed its statement to “the special operation action group”  of the military supreme command .Military officials in Seoul said they had no knowledge of such a unit and no particular military movement had been detected in the North.

However, a trustful analyst said the North, unlike in the past , may well follow up its threats now that major anniversary events are over .
