Obama talks about the economy, Friday, June 8, 2012, in the briefing room of the White House in Washington.He urged Congress to take steps the economy. He also called on Republican lawmakers to narrate why they are not taking action if they do not.

President said that, "Right now people on this town should be focused on doing everything we can to keep our recovery going and keeping our country strong."

He also said the United States should be learn fro the experiences of Europe, where many countries are in downward spiral because they are cutting spending too quickly and interest rates rise as investors see that it will be harder for countries to pay down their debts.

The president told reporters "Now if Congress decides despite all that they are not going to do anything about this simply because it is an election year, then they should explain to the American people why."

Barak Obama wants to remove unemployment from The America. He noted that the weakest job growth in the economy is in construction and state and local government hiring.
