British Prime Minister’s party sustain losses in mid-term polls


David Cameron, who is Prime minister. His  Conservative Party yesterday took a violent shock in mid-term local elections, capping a bad month for the govt. after British slid back into giving back.

Labour Party, which is main opposition party of David Cameron. The Labour Party made big gets in the partial elections at the expense of Conservatives and their Liberal Democrat partners in the coalition government.

A source said that in a further blow to Cameron tow years after he came to power, his push to create the posts of elected mayors in the biggest cities of England was refused in referendum.

However , certainly poll indications showed Conservative Boris Johnson may hold on to the mayor’s job in London in the year of the 2012 Olympics. Results are due in the capital from around 1900 GMT.
